CEF WSx08 CEF WSx08 is an efficient rack-mounted, 2U-sized industrial PC which is extremely well suited for use in vehicles and in the most demanding industrial environments.

CEF-WSx08 comes with two 3.5" hard disk drives that are equipped with a CEF Damper 28 shock absorption system. The low resonance frequency of the absorption system protects the hard disks from interruptions such as blows and vibration. The system protects the hard disks against blows of up to 100G.

The tightness of the aluminium casing of CEF-WSx08 meets the requirements of IP54 and prevents splatter and dust from infiltrating into the device. All connectors, power switch, removable hard disks and other drives are enclosed behind a front guard. The casing meets the requirement of IP54 protection class. These high-tech features make CEF-WSx08 suitable for use in demanding conditions such as vehicles and harsh industrial environments.

This PC is used, for example, by the Finnish Defence Forces and many industrial operators in the most demanding environments. CEF-WSx08 is designed for situations where an ordinary office PC just isn't enough.
