CEF-SRx — A router/switch for demanding conditions CEF-SRx is an effectively managed router/switch with features that are easy to expand by connecting the base unit with a variety of data transfer modules. This device combines cutting-edge communications capabilities with the first-class durability required under extreme operating conditions.

CEF-SRx is maintenance-free; any maintenance performed by the user is limited to changing modules and cables and updating software.

This compact device (2U-height) is easy to fit into a 19" standard rack either on a permanent or a sliding fixture. Installation depth is approximately 50 cm. CEF-SRx aluminium casing is splatter-proof, and the cables through holes meet the requirements of the IP54 protection class.

Reliability is further enhanced by an active monitoring unit which measures, for example, temperature and operating voltage. The monitoring unit alerts the user when necessary. Set values and alarm limits can be set through the serial interface port (HyperTerminal).

The router/switch meets the requirements of ce standard.
