CEF-300x is a table- or wall-mounted industrial computer designed and manufactured by Control Express Oy. The device combines easy maintenance and excellent expandability and its casing holds two hard disk slots protected by a patented shock absorption system.

This shock absorption system protects the hard disks against blows of up to 100G. CEF-300x can also be equipped with an SSD which has no moving parts and is protected against blows of up to 1500G. The device is equipped with a monitoring unit which monitors temperature and voltage. Possible alarms are signalled by indicator lights and sound on the front panel (can also be switched off).

One of the advanced standard features of CEF-300x is an efficient air filtering system which overpressurises the device casing with filtered clean air. This way, dust and dirt are prevented from infiltrating into the casing and causing malfunction. In addition to two 3.5" shock absorbent hard disk slots, the casing can fit two 5.25" mass storage devices.

CEF-300x is easily customised to meet the specific requirements of the customer. There are several processor choices — from Intel Celeron all the way to Intel Core 2 Duo with its two processing cores. Excellent expandability is ensured by up to nine expansion slots depending on the motherboard model.
